Intermediate to expert skiers.
We recommend you can at least ski blue terrain in order to benefit most from a Carv Performance Camp. We have had camps where our lowest student's Carv Ski IQ was 90 and our highest student's Ski Carv IQ was 157. Even with such a range, our instructors cater to each camp participant to unlock their maximum ski potential.
No, we have plenty of students using Carv for the first time at our camps.
If you are new to Carv, not to worry, our instructors are experts, and have worked closely with the Carv Data team to help define their ski metrics. By the time you are done with your Performance Camp you will know exactly how to maximize the Carv app.
We combine Carv AI metrics with a focus on good skiing.
Our number one focus is teaching good skiing. You will see that our instructor's combine good skiing with Carv metrics to further enhance the learning curve, and progress your skiing faster than a traditional ski lesson.
Expect daily video feedback, individual focuses, drills & exercises, and translation of Carv scores.
If it is your first time trying Carv, we can offer you a demo Carv device and membership for your camp.
If you would like to get a head start on your learning and familiarize yourself with Carv you can purchase a Carv device and membership on their website getcarv.com.
We recommend the Tyrolean Lodge or Aspen Mountain Lodge.
Both hotels are located in downtown Aspen, and offer the most affordable rates with easy access to shuttle transportation to all four mountains.

December camps are at Aspen Mountain. January - March camps are at Aspen highlands.
All Aspen mountain camps will meet outside of Gorsuch Cafe, located at the base of the Gondola, at 9am each morning.
Aspen Highlands camps will meet outside the ticket office at 9am each morning. Aspen Highlands is a 10 minute ride if you are located in downtown Aspen. Free local shuttle services are available each morning.
For all camps, please have your ski pass ready before 9am, and expect to be on the snow till 3-3:30pm each day.
We recommend a narrow ski with a 75-78mm underfoot.
A 75-78mm ski is a perfect introduction for carving on groomed terrain. Race skis typically have a waist of 60-70mm allowing for the highest level ski performance. We only recommend an underfoot less than 75mm for advanced to expert skiers.

HEAD is a close partner of ours, and we have access to their Demo Center's in select ski areas across Europe. If you attend one of our European camps you will have access to a freshly tuned pair of HEAD skis every day of the camp.
